Hidden Transformation  

#1) Isaiah 45:15, (The Message Bible)
“Clearly, you are a God who works behind the scenes.” 

 Example: Joseph’s 13 years between promise and provision  

Joseph looking back in retrospect said:
You didn’t send me here, God did (Genesis 45:8)
What you meant for evil God meant for good (Genesis 50:20)

You are being transformed by Jesus in ways you may not recognize!  

Example Wax on, Wax off
    “I’m Mr. Miyagi Lee” 

 Personal example: Lord, I don’t understand, but I trust you! 

Hidden signs you are being transformed.  

• You are struggling with some sin.
  (This is a sign of transformation!) 
  You are struggling!! This wasn’t always the case. 

 Paul shares his struggle: Romans7:15 “What I don’t want to, I do, and what I want to do, I don’t do.”
24 Oh wretched man that I am, who shall deliver me from this body of death? 25 I thank my God- through Jesus Christ our Lord! 

If Paul struggled, It’s OK for us to struggle! 

• You have doubts:
  This is a sign of Transformation!
  It means you’re trying to believe. 

(Mathew 28:17, “When they saw Him, they worshipped Him; but some doubted.” 

 Don’t let what you don’t know or understand affect what you do know. 

• You pray selfish prayers:
  Lord, I just want enough money for me and my family!
  At least you are praying!  

• You’re mad about Sunday’s message!
  At least you heard the message 

 #3) There’s a difference in being weak and being rebellious! 

 1 Thessalonians. 5:14, “Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all.”
We are all in the process of being transformed! 

 He that hath begun a good work in you, he will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6
