#1) 2nd Kings 5:1-19
Verse 11) Naaman was furious. Why? He had an expectation that almost robbed him of his miracle.
*Don’t let what you don’t understand affect what you do understand!
#2) Expectancy NOT Expectations
Expectancy is a verb: Full of life and joy, excitement, unending potential, and limitless possibilities! (Grace)
Expectation is a noun: And brings with it (Law and rules)
*No WORD POLICING!!
Example: Getting Saturday off
Example: Friendship
(Expectations can lead to Disappointment, frustration, and anger)
Example: The #1 day for filing for divorce
Daniel 3:16-18 “Our God is able, but even if he doesn’t, we still won’t worship that golden image” That’s expectancy!!!
#3) The Problem in real time:
- The elections
- Covid
- Israel missed the Messiah
#4) Expectancy and church:
- Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation
- Turn to page 123 “I shall not be, I shall not be moved!”
- (God can move anywhere, anytime, anyway)
- Ministry is where you find it!
- The parking lot
- The coffee shop
- The children’s church/the children
- The local tavern
- Walmart
- None leadership individuals!!!!
Don’t miss your miracle because of an expectation!!!
